The University of Regina Psychology Graduate Students invite us to attend the next session in their Anti-Racism Speaker Series: the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Who: Director of Northern Medical Services Dr. Veronica McKinney, social epidemiologist Dr. Farah N. Mawani, and sociologist Dr. Weiguo Zhang will explore how the COVID-19 pandemic has exposed and exacerbated systemic racism impacting social and health inequities, such as Indigenous people’s health and anti-Asian racism, and they’ll provide actionable items to dismantle these systems and advocate for change. Local resident Kim Nguyen will be moderating the event.
