Quality Assurance Program Committee
- Reviews the quality assurance program and processes at CANNN.
- Evaluates proposed Quality Assurance activities by CANNN staff.
- Open for applications – Project concludes August 31, 2025.
Policy Committee
- Reviews, evaluates, and approves policies before Board approval.
- Ensures policies align with CANNN’s goals, legal requirements, and nursing best practices.
- Open for applications – One-year term.
Nursing Practice Committee
- Reviews and discusses new standards of practice.
- Provides input on nursing trends and clinical guidelines.

Research Committee
- Identifies key research questions impacting nursing in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
- Engages in research planning, data collection, and interpretation.
- Publishes findings to advance nursing research.

Association and Advocacy Committee

- Completes fitness-to-practice evaluations.

Education Advisory Committee
- Recommends nursing education standards and program approval processes.
- Provides guidance on nursing education policies.

Can I apply for multiple committees? Yes! Indicate your preferred committee(s) when submitting your application and we will review to ensure that there are no conflicts of interest with your preferences. If there is, you will be contacted to discuss further.
